Wheel loader, also referred to as a Front end loader and sometimes known simply as Loader is a giant heavy equipment vehicle primarily used to move and load materials such as soil, sand, demolition debris into other heavy equipment such as dump trucks.

In some construction, mining and agricultural sites, wheel loaders may be seen levelling and clearing grounds. This entirely depend on your level of experience using the machine.

Our 30%, 70% theory and practical front end loader training is designed to give our students sufficient time to learn  the loader controls, gain sufficient confidence and become certified Wheel loader operators in just 4 weeks.

Our Uganda front end loader training course is designed to favor both novice operators and experienced. In fact, if you can walk, you can learn to operate them.

As a Front-end Loader student, you will get over 50 hours of machine operating shifts as well as an accompanied training manual to supplement your learning.

However, primarily, wheel loaders are used for landscaping, earthmoving and moving of earth, soil, rocks, debris and more. With so many kinds of attachments, wheel loaders are multi-purpose machines capable of almost anything.

What are the most common Wheel loader accidents?
Much as learning safety, tips and tricks will help you avoid many wheel loader accidents. In many construction, mining and agricultural sites, tipping, rollovers and bystanders are the most common wheel loader accidents. Tipping is majorly caused by improper leverage of load in the loader bucket causing it to flip and tip while unstable footing and over speeding is the major cause for wheel loader rollovers.

How long does it take to learn Wheel loader operation?
Because of it’s simplified design, it’s fairly easy to learn front-end loader operation. It usually takes about 3 weeks before you gain sufficient confidence and skills required to become a certified Wheel loader operator.
In the three weeks, you will learn basic machine controls, safety compliance, maintenance and repair skills.
