Excavator Operator Training in Uganda
Simply put, an excavator is a heavy machine with a hand-like bucket used for digging, lifting and carrying materials in construction, mining, and agricultural sites.
An excavator has a boom, bucket, cab, and rotating platform that sits on an undercarriage with tracks or wheels.
Overall, the excavator works by using the operator’s control inputs to direct the flow of hydraulic fluid to the different cylinders, which in turn move the boom, dipper, and bucket to excavate material and move it to a different location.

You can learn to operate an excavator in three weeks at an excavator school like Friendly Heavy Equipment & Machinery Training School. If you already have a driving permit, you shall be well equipped with all sufficient skills, tips and tricks to become an industry-standard excavator operator.

Are excavators hard to learn?
